It has been announced that Jan Kaito, a member of the 9-member dance vocal group SUPER★DRAGON, will be starting a solo project.
In this solo project, Jean Kaito plans to share his creative work under the name jjean (pronounced: Jean).
Along with the announcement of his solo debut, he immediately released two songs, “Rafflesia” and “Babylon.” Regarding these two songs and his solo debut, Jean Kaito commented as follows.

I can’t help but feel grateful and excited that I will be able to share the world that is expanding inside me with the world, and that I will be able to grow even more than before by releasing JJEAN’s music, which I have created with confidence, to the world. yeah.
In the sense of delivering my music to 88rising, which is my roots, and working with anime, which is also the base of my music, I set an anime tie-up as my first goal and will continue to run through it without stopping. Masu.
I will do my best to inspire many artists in Japan with my unique worldview and musicality, and become a pioneer.
The debut song is a sound filled with my own hyperpop, which is one of the foundations of my music, a unique and catchy melody line that uses three languages, and a fast-paced solo that expresses that I will never stop. I created “Babylon,” a melody created from a certain “Rafflesia” and my favorite rnb and classical music, expressing joy, anger, sadness, and happiness through music.
