The collaboration single “SIDEWAY EYES” by Carlos Ma-chan x Esosa Vee x Hum was released today, Friday, August 1st.
Esosa Vee is the MC of each Eyes Country, a hip-hop unit from the Tama area of Tokyo, Hum, a trackmaker for the band TOKYO RAVE GROUPIE, and singer Carlos Ma-chan. This is the third collaboration between the three members, following “spot” released in January last year and “NARITAI” released in May this year.
Esosa Vee’s memorable hooks sing a somewhat distant exchange of gazes, and Carlos Ma-chan’s passionate lyrics and Hum’s beat envelop the air in a warm, soft manner. It is a humid summer tune that turns sounds into sounds that are conveyed before words.
