JO1’s Yoshio Ohira will appear in the drama “Overprotective Young Master’s Sweet Marriage,” which will begin airing on MBS’s special drama block from May 23rd.
“The Overprotective Young Master’s Sweet Marriage” is a live-action drama adaptation of the extremely popular series published by Comic Tint, which has sold over 400,000 copies in total. Kou Takano will play the lead role, and Manami Igashira will play the heroine.
A pure girl who is training to be a chef with Yukito Someya (Ko Takano), the young husband of a long-established inn in Asakusa, and the sweet confetti that Yukito gave her when she was at the lowest point in her life.・The story of Ion Tsuruoka (Ami Igashira).
The “doting” love story depicts an overprotective and sweet newlywed life that begins with a sudden proposal from Yukito, and depicts Yukito, a gentleman and serious young man who attracts everyone, and his sweet words and actions that only Irine can see. The director and screenwriter is Koichiro Miki, who has worked on such works as “Botanical Encyclopedia: Fateful Love, Hiroshimata” and “Ellie in Love,” and is preparing for the release of “Teacher’s White Lie” in July.
JO1’s Yoshio Ohira, who has been confirmed to appear in the film, is active as an actor and voice actor, including in “Movie Poupelle of Chimney Town,” “OUT,” and the TV anime “Gunjo no Fanfare.” In this work, he plays the role of Masato Sometani, Yukito’s older brother.

■Overall synopsis

Tsuruoka Yion (Igashira Manami) is dedicated to training as a chef at the long-established Someya Ryokan in Asakusa. I secretly continued to have feelings for her after seeing her beautiful and enthusiastic attitude toward work. One day, she hears rumors about her young husband’s marriage proposal, and although she is shocked, Yion manages to change her mind and says, “Let’s do our best to train so that we can serve as a chef!” But she goes outside from the public bath to go home. The figure of Yukito ambushing her…! What’s more, the two of them unexpectedly end up going to Ione’s room!?
