Singer-songwriter and guitarist DURAN has released the music video for “Sapient Creature” from his new album “Electric Man.”

In the video, DURAN portrays a salaryman worn down by societal expectations, constantly playing the part of a false self that others demand. He’s fed up with this daily grind and unleashes the monster inside him, loyal to his instincts. The video carries a message of breaking free and living authentically, embracing one’s true self.

Now, DURAN is making waves with his France performances and a tour around Japan, the “DURAN ‘The Venomous Rift in Humanity Tour’.”

Additionally, there’s exciting news for blues fans: DURAN plans to release a blues album, “30 Scratchy Backroad Blues,” on March 13, 2024.

Artist Profile: DURAN

Singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born in Japan and raised in the Philippines. He is of Spanish-Filipino descent through his father and Japanese through his mother. He started playing piano at the age of 3 and picked up the guitar at 14 under the influence of his bassist father. He has played in various bands including ROOTLESS, Made in Asia, and a flood of circle. He has also worked with notable artists such as Koshi Inaba (of B’z), Kiyoharu, Suga Shikao, Obukuro Nariaki, Fujii Kaze, and participated as a guitarist in EXILE ATSUSHI’s band RED DIAMOND DOGS. In 2018, he released his album “FACE” and began his full-fledged solo career. An artist who is gaining attention both domestically and internationally for his beautiful, soulful vocals and transcendentally emotional guitar playing.
