Alternative space “WALL_alternative” in Nishiazabu, Tokyo will be holding a group exhibition “My Scenery” from May 15th (Wednesday)! A live performance by singer “Yunoa” will be held at the opening reception!




Starting Wednesday, May 15th, the exhibition “My Scenery” in collaboration with creative director Keiji Kaneko, who is active in the fashion field, will be held at the nighttime alternative space “WALL_alternative” planned and managed by Avex.

“My Scenery” is based on the theme of everyday scenes, colors, and moments, and includes photographer Nico Perez, who also works on musician artwork such as sheep literature, and Shohei Yoshida 4, who is also active as a designer of exhibition graphics and fashion magazine covers. A group exhibition featuring famous artists.

On Wednesday, May 15th, the first day of the exhibition, an acoustic live performance by singer Yunoa will be held.
Please come and experience “My Scenery”, an exhibition where art, fashion, and music cross over.

■Exhibiting artists
Suzueri
Real name: Eirinko Suzuki. She is based in Tokyo. She exhibits and performs using her own homemade instruments and devices. She is interested in the interaction of tools and instruments, the displacement of the body, communication technology and improvisation, and questions the poetry and narrative that are evoked from this.
Graduated from Musashino Art University and IAMAS. Currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies and Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo. He is active both domestically and internationally as a sound artist and improviser, and in recent years has participated in Moers Festival (Germany, 2024), Tokyo Biennale (2023), and LUFF Festival (Switzerland, 2022). In 2019, she stayed in Valparaiso, Chile as a trainee under the Overseas Training Program for Emerging Artists of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and the work she produced during her stay was selected as a recommended work by the Judging Committee of the Art Division of the Japan Media Arts Festival. In 2023, with a grant from the Asian Cultural Council, he will stay in New York and create and exhibit as a Harvestworks Scholarship Artist.

Nico Perez
Photographer & Filmmaker | Creative Direction
Born in Malaga, Spain in 1986. She moved to London, England when she was young, and spent her childhood traveling between Spain and England. She visited Tokyo for the first time in 2008, and was inspired by the city’s “blue” atmosphere and sense of urban solitude. In 2009, she was selected to be a member of photographer Rinko Kawauchi’s workshop held in London, and she decided to become a photographer, so she moved to Tokyo. In 2015, she released her first photo book “Momentary” and held her solo exhibition at the same time. Since then, solo exhibitions “Stills from life” (16), “Kingsland Road” (18), “Chasing Blue” (19), “Take Off” (21), “Havana, Cuba “The Reprint” (21) , “Let me be what I want to be” (22). She is currently based in Tokyo.


Koji Yamaguchi
Born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Strongly influenced by the flexible perspective of skateboarding, which uses the city as a playground, he uses various techniques such as painting, drawing, and collage to transform everyday scenes and familiar objects into a unique perspective.
After working in New York for three years since 2015, he is currently mainly active in Tokyo.


Shohei Yoshida
Born in 1985. Born in Hiroshima Prefecture. After graduating from Kuwasawa Design Institute, he worked at the design office Nakamura Graph Co., Ltd., and became independent as Shirotsuzo in 2016. Her activities include magazine and book design and art direction for exhibition visuals. He also produces and presents many collage works using paper and books as the main materials. His collections include “KASABUTA” (WALL 2013), “Shinjuku (Collage)” (numabooks 2017), and “Trans-Siberian Railway” (White Solid 2021).


Yunoa (singer) Born in 2003. From an early age, he became familiar with Western music such as soul music under the influence of his parents, and aspired to sing from his mid-teens. He expresses the difficulty he has felt in life, and the resulting negative emotions such as disappointment, resignation, weakness, and contradiction, with his raw yet powerful singing voice. He sublimates the voiceless screams prevalent in modern times into his songs. In March 2024, his 1st single “sadless” will be released. Starts his solo career. In May of the same year, he joined the team project “NAQT VANE”.
