■“Chururi” is a new pop song by Yuzu with an impressive phrase “Chururi” that is repeated throughout the song like a password!

Yuzu has released the music video for her new song “Chururi” on her official YouTube channel.

“Chururi”, which was released on May 15th, is the first new song in about nine months since “Beautiful” released in August 2023. The lyrics were written by Yuhito Kitagawa, and the music was composed by Kitagawa and Tomiyo. This is Yuzu’s new pop song, with impressive lyrics that relate to the daily lives of people living today, a colorful sound arrangement, and the password-like phrase “chururi” that is repeated throughout the song.

Continuing from the jacket artwork, the music video is a collaboration with flower artist Toshin.

The worldview of the animation work “Botanical animation “Story of Flowers 2”, which was previously produced and released by the creation group “AMKK (Toshin, Flower Tree Research Institute)” headed by Azuma, matches the concept theme of the song “Chururi” Therefore, we added music to the same animation and reconstructed it as a new work. This video work gives you a sense of the innovative fusion of music and art.

Yuzu will release her first new album in two years in the summer of 2024. Starting in October, they will be holding a nationwide arena tour with 30 performances in 12 locations.
