YOASOBI will be in charge of “NHK Sports Theme 2024”!

YOASOBI has been selected to write the theme song for NHK’s 2024 sports broadcasts and programs, “NHK Sports Theme 2024.” According to NHK, “In addition to broadcasting various sports this year, the song will also be used in broadcasting the Paris Olympics and Paralympics starting in July.” To create the song, they commissioned three manga artists active in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” – Taizan 5, Yuki Kirishima, and Hiru Haruno – to create a work on the theme of sports. Then, based on the manga that they had written, Jun Esaka wrote a novel, and the song was created based on the original novel. In addition, a comment from YOASOBI themselves has arrived! Please look forward to it.
