Soshina’s first album “Aria of Starry Sky and Great Cause” will be released on Wednesday, April 17th!

Universal Music LLC (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fujikura Hisashi; hereinafter referred to as “Universal Music”) will release Soshina’s first album, “Hoshiiro to Taigi no Aria,” on Wednesday, April 17th.

While he has received numerous awards as a comedian, Soshina is also expanding his field of activity as an artist by working as a producer, writing original songs for singers such as Vocaloids and voice actors.

This album is a three-piece band, with Soshina on vocals and guitar, and writing and composing all the songs. The song “Salvador Saga” is a number with a straightforward and powerful message accompanied by an intense guitar sound. “Harubarapare,” written for his father who passed away when Soshina was 17, is a song in which he sings about his straightforward feelings for his father and his love for his family, which he had never dared to express before, accompanied by an intense guitar sound. Soshina himself directed the music videos for both songs.

The CD will be released in two formats: a limited edition (CD+2DVD) and a regular edition (CD). The limited edition will be a tall-sized digipak, and the bonus DVDs will be titled “Music” and “Comedy,” and each will feature full-length footage of the original. The first pressing will include an entry form (with a serial number) for a lottery campaign that will give you the chance to participate in two release events.

Soshina will be holding his “Sohshina 1st Tour ‘Aria of Star Colors and Great Causes'” from June to July. He will be touring three locations in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo with bassist Hikari Fujimoto (ex. Akai Koen), who participated in the album, and drummer Ai Kishinami (ex. SEPTEMBER ME), who also works as a designer for the brand “LISTLESS.” I’s will be making a guest appearance at the Osaka Umeda CLUB QUATTRO performance, and Paledusk will be making a guest appearance at the Fukuoka DRUM Be-1 performance.

In 2021, he founded his own label, “soshina,” in preparation for his full-scale musical career.

In March of the same year, the label’s first song, “Random Number Adjustment Reverse Cinderella feat. Ayamiya Suu (CV: Taketatsu Ayana)” was released. Upon release, the title and the name of the main character in the music video ranked 7th and 8th, respectively, on Twitter (now X) trends.

In November of the same year, he was appointed as the 20th anniversary ambassador for Taiko no Tatsujin and wrote the commemorative song “Daisuki na Taiko no Oto feat. Donchan.”

In April 2023, she released “Yusari no Kanon feat. Yuika,” the ending theme for the NHK E-Tele anime “Blue Orchestra.” The pop song, arranged by Syudou, is a hot topic for its use of motifs from famous classical pieces.
