dustbox’s 25th anniversary cover compilation album will be released on July 3rd!

“Timeless Melodies – a tribute to dustbox -” is a luxurious compilation album containing 22 songs in total, including 21 timeless dustbox covers by friends who have been on this journey together for 25 years, as well as one new song by dustbox!

The members of the band include melodic punk bands of the same generation such as HAWAIIAN6 and locofrank, old friends and comrades 10-FEET and ROTTENGRAFFTY, the still-rising 04 Limited Sazabys, HEY-SMITH, SHANK, and the young KUZIRA. In addition, a total of 22 bands from different generations and genres have gathered, including FRONTIER BACKYARD and DALLJUB STEP CLUB, whose presence transcends the boundaries of the live house/club scene.

In commemoration of the release of this album, dustbox will be hosting a two-day event, “KOSHIROCK GALAXY 2024,” at Toyosu PIT on October 11th and 12th. For details, please contact dustbox.Official websiteThey are scheduled to be released sequentially.

I never thought I’d be in the same band for 25 years.
It’s all thanks to everyone who supports me. Thank you as always!
This time, dustbox took on a new song rather than a self-cover.
Our new song, Blinding Light, was written with the feeling of wanting to deliver it to everyone who has always given us light to melt away our anxieties, and to the fact that we have continued as a band for 25 years despite the many times we have felt discouraged. I wanted to tackle this with the same feelings as all the bands who participated in this work, so I put the song right in the middle of the order.
I want everyone to sing along with me during the chorus. Even if they don’t, I’ll still practice during the live show (laughs).
Many of my friends participated and it turned out to be a great piece. Thank you so much!!
