NO MUSIC, NO LIFE. Cornelius Keigo Oyamada

With the advancement of technology and globalization, the rapid flow of information

I feel like society is also changing rapidly.

On the other hand, there are many issues such as the war in Ukraine, conflicts in the Middle East, social divisions, and climate change.

There are a number of complex reasons why people feel in danger and anxious.

Music is not just entertainment,

I believe it plays a role in enriching people’s emotions and connections.

(Cornelius / Keigo Oyamada)

The new album, “Ethereal Essence,” is a newly reconstructed version of the ambient works that Cornelius has released in recent years, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his solo career. It is a long-awaited work for fans, with 11 of the 13 tracks being released on CD for the first time and 9 being released digitally for the first time, including “Quantum Ghost” (a coupling track on the 7-inch vinyl “Hibana”), “Sketch For Spring” (BGM commemorating the opening of Shibuya Parco), and “Sauna Lover 2024” (a rearrangement of the theme song for TV Tokyo’s “Sauna-do”).

To commemorate this, Tower Records will be giving away a postcard with a “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” poster design to the first customers who purchase the album, with five lucky winners chosen by lottery to win a signed “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” poster.
