[Ayaka]A full orchestra concert “Ayaka SYMPHONIC CONCERT in Yakushiji” will be held to commemorate the completion of the East Pagoda of the World Heritage Site Yakushiji Temple.

A special concert by singer-songwriter Ayaka and a full orchestra, “Ayaka SYMPHONIC CONCERT in Yakushiji,” dedicated to commemorate the completion of the East Pagoda of Yakushiji Temple, a World Heritage Site, was held on Saturday, June 8th.

This concert, Ayaka’s first symphonic concert since 2009, featured her performing with the Kyoto Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Special Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Yanagisawa Toshio, who is currently active in Europe. Ayaka’s clear voice reverberated through the Yakushiji night, as the orchestra produced a superb sound with a number of famous pieces such as “Mikazuki” and “Minna Sora no Shita.” “I have been looking forward to this day ever since this performance was decided. I am happy to be able to sing in such a wonderful place, and to be able to spend this moment with everyone,” she said of the concert.

In the main performance, Ayaka, who is a dog lover and has had two dogs in her family for 13 years, performed her latest song, “Zutto Kimi to,” which she wrote to express her feelings for her two dogs, who bring her so much love and healing every day.

The main part of the concert ended with the orchestra’s dynamic and delicate ensemble, and during the encore, Ayaka expressed her gratitude many times to the audience, who were ringing out in applause, saying, “It was a truly special and happy time. Thank you very much.”
The “Ayaka PREMIUM SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2024” is scheduled to be held at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Main Hall on Wednesday, June 12th and Thursday, June 13th, so we hope you will come and experience the world of music created by Ayaka’s singing and the sounds of the orchestra.
