AWA, a subscription-based music streaming service operated by AWA Inc. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akio Togashi), began streaming all 425 of Naomi Chiaki’s songs on June 10, 2024.

■ Naomi Chiaki
Born on September 17, 1947 in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo.
She made her debut as a singer in 1969 with “Ame ni Nureta Boujou”. In 1972, her song “Kachou” took the world by storm and won the Japan Record Award. She is well-known for her singing ability, and has performed at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen for many years. Since her comeback in 1980, she has been active as an actress, appearing in films such as “Izakaya Choji” in 1983 and “Setouchi Shonen Yakyu-dan” in 1984. She also made headlines with her appearance in the commercial for “Tansu ni Gon”. She is currently taking a break from show business.
