Formed in 2013, they made their major debut in 2015 with the mini-album “Variety” on EMI Records.
Since then, they have released one original album per year and continued to perform live shows steadily, and their first nationwide arena tour “The Garden of Eden” began in December 2019, with all performances in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka (attracting 80,000 people) selling out in just one day.
On July 8, 2020, the fifth anniversary of their major debut, they released their first greatest hits album, “5,” which reached number one on the Oricon weekly combined album rankings and the Billboard overall album chart. At the same time, they declared the end of “Phase 1” and suddenly announced a hiatus.
After a hiatus of about one year and eight months, the group will resume activities with its current lineup in March 2022, marking the opening of “Phase 2.”
In 2024, they will be releasing a rush of new songs, including “Nachtmusik”, the theme song for the movie “Silent Love”, in January, “Lilac”, the opening theme for the TV anime “Wakakyaku Battery”, in April, and “Dear”, the theme song for the movie “Dear Family”, on Monday, May 20th. They will also hold the stadium tour “Zenjin Mito and Weltraum – Meimei Hen -“, the youngest in the history of Japanese bands, at Noevir Stadium Kobe on Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th, and at Yokohama Stadium on Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st, and in October they will hold the “regular performance” “Mrs. GREEN APPLE on “Harmony”” for 8 days at the world’s largest arena, K Arena Yokohama.
