BLACK BERRY TIMES is a neo-soul project formed in 2023 by two university students who began their activities by incorporating a unique pop quality and current trends that evoke the roots of black music, especially 70’s soul.
The band’s song “Teenage Anthem,” released in February 2024 and included on this EP, sings of the light and shadow of youth, and expectations and hopes for the future, and is gradually gaining popularity among music fans as it is being added to playlists one after another on various subscription sites.Today, they have released a concept EP with a rain and sunshine theme.
As the title suggests, After Rain Comes Sunshine is a collection of four songs that honestly and positively capture the feelings of college students struggling with love and life.
This youthful soul music, filled with moving lyrics and solid performance, is an evergreen number that touches the hearts of everyone.

They have now started performing live and their sound is becoming more and more realistic, so please look forward to it.

BLACK BERRY TIMES Profile
The band is made up of Aoto Yanagisawa (vocals, keys) who is mainly responsible for the lyrics and composition, and Ren Ogihara (guitar) who is in charge of the arrangement and mixing.
A music project centered around two current university students.
