In episode 9, “Reversal,” Ide Takaya, a classmate who turned himself in for the serial murders, is interrogated and the true identity of the culprit is finally revealed.

■ Synopsis of the final episode
Aoi (Nakamura Anne) finds conclusive evidence pointing to the real culprit at Ide’s (Mori Yusaku) general store.
At that moment, one of her classmates, Asuka Momo (Oda Risa), appears in front of Aoi. Aoi is shocked to learn the true identity of the serial killer. Momo admits that she was responsible for all the murders. Aoi loses consciousness when Momo presses a stun gun against her.
Kosaka (Yokoyama Yuu) was listening to the conversation between Aoi and the real culprit through Aoi’s smartphone, which was on a call, but suddenly the sound cuts out and he realizes that something strange has happened to Aoi.
When Kizaki (Yoshiyuki Tsubokura) and Natsume (Kohei Higuchi) rush to Ide’s general store, they find that Aoi has already been taken away. Kosaka calls Ide, who has been sent to the Metropolitan Police Department headquarters, back to the Nono Police Station to try to get clues about where Momo kidnapped Aoi.
When Aoi wakes up, she finds herself restrained and confronted by Momo.
