WEST. Nozomu Kotaki talks about his parents' "overprotectiveness" on "Tasting Stories to Have Fun With"

■ WEST. Nozomu Kotaki’s parents are so concerned about him that they even follow him to the bathroom when he goes out.

Nozomu Kotaki (WEST.), Aika Kanda, Tsutomu Sekine, and Kuruma Takahi (Reiwa Roman *the kanji for “taka” is written with a はしごだか) will appear as guests on Fuji TV’s “Tales to Go With Alcohol” which will be broadcast on June 14th.

■WEST. Nozomu Kotaki reveals his parents’ “overprotectiveness”!?
Nozomu Kotaki appeared from WEST., who are celebrating their 10th anniversary since their debut. Kotaki asked, “Do parents really become overprotective?” The 27-year-old Kotaki cited various episodes of his parents being so anxious that they would even follow him to the bathroom when he was out, and wondered if he was being treated too well. He shared one heartwarming episode after another about his parents’ love.

Sekine Tsutomu has always been sweet to his daughter Mari, even teasing her. However, he was always worried that Mari, who was good at studying, was pushing herself too hard. When his daughter, who was studying abroad in the US, complained that she couldn’t write her report and wanted to disappear, Sekine tried to give her the warmest words as a father to support her. However, Mari’s reaction was completely different from what he had expected, and everyone burst out laughing.

Furthermore, Sekine revealed that he is still a big TV fan, and asked the group about their “favorite TV shows.” Sekine’s favorite show is “Chidori no Kusesugo!”. His favorite points are so detailed that even MC Daigo is astonished. He also has a mountain of other favorite shows, and the TV talk blossoms.

Reiwa Roman Takahiku Kuruma, who loves TV and records it all on a daily basis, reveals that she used to have a little fun by using the fortune-telling corner of a morning information program. Also, Kanda, whose husband is Bananaman’s Himura, says there is a program that she always checks. The reason she likes that program is full of “love” for her husband, and everyone gets excited.
