The music video for DISH//’s latest song, “In the Morning, the Moon is Smiling Too,” has been released.
This song, which was released digitally on April 26th, is the theme song for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV”, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. It was composed by Shu Tachibana (Key) and Dai Izumi (Dr), and the lyrics were written by Takumi Kitamura (Vo, Gu). As the opening lyrics say, “Morning is now coming all over the world”, this song was created with the desire to “gently accompany the morning of all people”.
The music video was created based on an idea from the DISH// members who wanted Kitamura Takumi to appear in the film not just as the “vocalist of DISH//” but as an “actor.” Directed by Takahashi Issei, the video highlights the actor Kitamura Takumi’s performance with fresh yet delicate depictions, while also conveying the message of the song in a straightforward manner.
The entire scene from the opening shot in the room to the performance scene with the morning glow unfolding was shot in a single take.
