■ “Itsuki (Tanaka) loves this project (Charito Journey), and I can totally understand why he likes it! I’ve fallen in love with it too!!” (SixTONES Morimoto Shintaro)
SixTONES’ Morimoto Shintaro will be a guest on NTV’s “Cho Muteki Class” on June 23rd.
The episode being broadcast this time is “Super Invincible Bike Journey.” There are about 5,000 high schools across Japan. There are students who cycle to school every day, covering incredibly long distances. What kind of harsh road is that? Why do they continue to cycle to school? This youth documentary will reveal their true selves and support them.
The setting for this episode is Ayagawa-cho, Kagawa Prefecture, known as the birthplace of Sanuki udon. Cocoa (Kawamura Cocoa) investigates Shingo, a high school student who rides his bike to school, as he takes on the tough route. The route is a grueling one, with an endless long hill over the mountains on a mamachari bike with no gears. Will he be able to complete it? What is Shingo’s club activity that has him aiming for the national championships? And what is his reason for continuing to ride his bike to school?
SixTONES’ Morimoto was very excited, saying, “Itsuki (Tanaka) loves this project (Charito Journey), and I can totally understand why he loves it! I’ve fallen in love with it too!!”
This time on “Super Invincible! Whole Class Challenge!”, the students of Saitama Prefectural Minano High School will take on the challenge. The theme is a “Table Tennis Relay.” As they practice and teach each other tricks, their unity gradually grows. Will they succeed? After watching the video, Nishikigoi’s Watanabe comments in admiration, “You can make a lifetime’s worth of memories with just a little idea. It’s amazing.” Watanabe continues, “I was so excited that I kind of wanted to hit a smash somewhere…” which draws laughter. They will also try the “Table Tennis Relay” in the studio…
The theme of the 44th “National High School Quiz Championship” is “A Great Migration Across the Japanese Archipelago! A Summer Adventure Quiz Battle”. The hosts will be SixTONES and the MCs of “Chou Muteki Class”, Kamaitachi and Rino Sashihara. Everyone in the studio will think of rousing shouts to inspire the high school students, such as “Fire” and “Victory”, which are synonymous with high school quizzes. Keep an eye out for the shouts that Morimoto comes up with.
