On terrestrial broadcasting, from the performances on April 12th and 13th, where Mrs. GREEN APPLE and NiziU performed their first joint live concert, Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s new song “Lilac”, released in April, has exceeded 100 million streams in total at the fastest rate, “Dance Hall” in which NiziU participated and performed a collaborative dance, and “Tensho no Uta” in which NiziU’s RIKU, MIIHI, and NINA participated and performed a beautiful harmony. In addition, in NiziU’s song “HEARTRIS”, which marked their Korean debut in 2023, Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Motoki Omori participated and performed a well-coordinated “Tetris dance”, and “SWEET NONFICTION”, which has been a hot topic for its highly addictive sound, will be broadcast.

The performance on the 14th, which brought together eight artists representing Japan and Korea, was broadcast on terrestrial TV with a luxurious set list of the artists’ representative songs, keeping the excitement of the performance intact. The Japanese version of “Get A Guitar,” the debut song of the world-famous boy group RIIZE, which was a one-night collaboration between RIIZE and Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Wakai Hiroto, which was realized after their joint appearance on “M:ZINE” (1:30 a.m. every Friday *excluding some regions), “plot twist” by TWS, who debuted in January as the younger brother of SEVENTEEN, “PHOTOGENIC” by THE JET BOY BANGERZ, a 10-member dance and vocal group born from the largest audition in LDH history, “iCON Z,” the debut song of K-POP new star EVNNE, and “TROUBLE” by FANTASTICS, a collaboration song with Korean group EPEX, was performed. In addition, the show will broadcast a number of high-level performances that are full of each artist’s individuality, including “Starmine” by Da-iCE, who are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their major debut, THE BOYZ’s new song “Nectar,” and “Good & Great” by SHINee’s KEY, who is performing as a solo artist.

In addition, CS (CS TV Asahi Channel 1) will exclusively broadcast the complete version of “The Performance,” including songs that were not included in the terrestrial broadcast, from noon on July 14th. Valuable exclusive interviews with each of the artists will also be delivered.

■ The narrator will be Shimazaki Nobunaga (the official spelling of “崎” is “tatsusaki”), who will be playing the main character, Nagi Seishiro, in “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi”
Shimazaki Nobunaga is a voice actor who is attracting a lot of attention now, having played the main character, Nagi Seishiro, in “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” and having been confirmed to appear in the second season of the “Blue Lock” TV series starting this October. Shimazaki plays the role of Chihaya Shunpei in the TV anime “Burning Battery,” which has Mrs. GREEN APPLE performing the opening song “Lilac.” Look out for the collaboration between the performances of artists such as Mrs. GREEN APPLE and Shimazaki’s narration.

■ Narrator: Nobunaga Shimazaki Comment
Q. Please tell us your thoughts after finishing the recording. Please also tell us your thoughts about being the narrator this time.
It was a bolt from the blue to me that I would be able to narrate such a great event with such a great group of artists through my connection with “Blue Lock”. At first, I was asked to convey the atmosphere of the character I play in “Blue Lock”, “Nagi Seishiro”, but as it turned out, “Nagi Seishiro” is not a man who is suited to proper narration, so in the end, I just had to narrate with all my heart and to the best of my ability. It was a lot of fun.

Q. What song by an artist left an impression on you?
When you watched it, what kind of feelings did you feel were put into the song?
Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Lilac” is the opening theme for the TV anime “Wakakyaku Battery” in which I appear, so it’s very memorable and I’m very happy. At the same time, I remember that NiziU, who had a special collaboration with Mrs. GREEN APPLE in “The Performance”, posted a video of Masako Nozawa, a senior voice actress, singing and dancing to the song.

Q. What are some points or highlights of the show that you would like viewers to pay particular attention to?
Do you have a message for the viewers who are looking forward to the show?
As the name “The Performance” suggests, the performances of the artists are amazing, so I tried my best to not interfere with this wonderful performance, and as the narrator, I tried my best to help make the experience even more enjoyable for everyone, so I hope you will check it out if you have an interest.
