Gunma Prefecture’s Publicity Director “Gunma-chan”‘s music stage “Gunma-chan Theater Concert 2024 ~ Gunma-chan’s Summer Festival ~” is scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024!


The “Gunma-chan Theater Concert” is a musical stage featuring a lineup of many songs and hand games, including popular nursery rhymes and kids songs for children, launched in February 2023 by Gunma Prefecture’s Public Relations Director, “Gunma-chan,” on the YouTube channel “Gunma-chan Theater.”


Due to the great success of the performances held in November last year and January this year, it has been decided that the third concert will be held at Gunma Kaikan (Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture) on Saturday, August 3rd.


This time too, the event will be enjoyable for a wide range of people, from families with small children, Gunma-chan fans, and those who are learning about Gunma-chan for the first time.

■ Overview of the “Gunma-chan Theater Company” channel
“Gunma-chan Theater” is a YouTube channel where Gunma-chan, Miyu-oneesan (Miyu Nakano), Aoma, and Miimi deliver fun videos of various songs and dances, such as nursery rhymes and hand-play songs, to preschool children. It began distribution on February 19, 2023, and has had a total of about 2 million views.

■ Performer information: Takashi Deguchi (childcare artist)

Born in Tokyo.
He was in charge of the choreography for Gunma-chan’s dance song “∞Tightly Hold the Ribbon∞”.
A childcare artist who uses her experience as a former nursery teacher to sing songs for children. As a label director, she directs the production of CDs and video content for children. She also writes the lyrics, composes the music, choreographs the songs, and directs the music videos herself. She also regularly uploads hand games and play songs to YouTube, which have been viewed over 100 million times in total. She is a self-produced multi-artist.
In 2023, he was in charge of choreography for the opening theme song “Zenryoku King” of the TV Asahi nationwide broadcast “Ousama Sentai King Oger”. He also composed and supervised the filming of the dance scenes.
Qualifications held include childcare worker, kindergarten license type 1, and certified babysitter.

Miyu Nakano (Actor)

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture.
She currently appears on the YouTube channel “Gekidan Gunma-chan” under the name “Miyu Onee-san.” She has appeared on stage since she was a child, appearing as Young Nala in the Shiki Theatre Company’s “The Lion King” from 2013 to 2015. Since then, she has appeared in many stage productions, including the musicals “SCORE” and “The Cats of Paris.”
In 2016, she began her activities as Miyu in the girl group “amiinA”. She has appeared in festivals and other large events sponsored by “amiinA” around the country, and participated in Japan’s largest idol festival “TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL” for four consecutive years. After four years as “amiinA”, she is now active again as an actress, appearing in the musical “Jackie and the Mysterious Music Box” in the stage play “The Curtain Rises” and the Nogizaka46 “5th Generation” version of the musical “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” in 2024.

Juju (Akagi Gang)

Born in Gunma Prefecture.
She has been active as a member of Gunma Prefecture’s local idol group “Akagi-dan” for seven years, since she was five years old.
As the youngest Gunma special ambassador, she promotes the attractions of Gunma both within and outside the prefecture.
As an idol, she performs at live shows and events every weekend, and also takes part in various community and social contribution activities, such as visiting elderly care facilities, spreading awareness of dementia as a Gunma Prefecture Dementia Ambassador, and participating in eco-activities several times a year in Akagidan Forest on Mount Akagi, where she plants trees with her fans and learns about how trees grow.
As an individual, he has worked as a magazine model, appeared in TV commercials, and acted in films.
In 2023, she was the main vocalist for Gunma-chan’s dance song “Minna no Gunma CHANCE!”
