Jorja Smith, the British songstress who is attracting worldwide attention, will release her new album “Falling or Flying (Reimagined)” on May 3rd. This new work is a reconstruction of songs from her latest album “Falling or Flying,” which was released in 2023 and received high praise, and was recorded in London with her long-time band. Ahead of the release of the album, the lead track “Greatest Gift (Reimagined),” a beautiful and supple reinterpretation of the original song, has also been released.

The original album “Falling or Flying,” which encompasses a wide variety of sounds, has been highly praised by critics since its release last September. It was nominated for Best R&B Act at the Brit Awards held in March this year. The band is now on a new stage, having launched their own label, FAMM.

The 26-year-old is from Walsall in the West Midlands, UK. He has collaborated with global stars such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Stormzy, Burna Boy, and Popcaan, and is at the forefront of the UK R&B scene.

In 2018, she became the first indie artist to win the Brit Award Critics’ Choice Award. Her debut album “Lost & Found” (UK No. 3), released in the same year, was highly praised and nominated for the Mercury Prize. In 2019, she won the Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Her sensual voice and highly refined sound have captivated fans around the world.

In September 2023, he released his second album “Falling of Flying” (UK No. 3), his first in about five years. He took a new step with this diverse sound work, which is filled with sophisticated R&B, hot UK funk, and alternative elements.
