KOTONOHOUSE, an important figure in the Japanese dance music scene, has released a new song, “With (feat. capo2)” through the dance music brand FUTUREmode!

KOTONOHOUSE, a DJ/track maker who is active in the Japanese dance music scene with his unique sound influenced by anime and games and has also attracted attention overseas, has released his new song “With (feat. capo2)”.

This song features female singer-songwriter capo2, who began her activities in 2022 and is releasing songs at a rapid pace that resonate with the younger generation with her life-sized lyrics and clear singing voice, and is released by the dance music brand “FUTUREmode”, which features various domestic track makers and artists. KOTONOHOUSE, who was the headliner at the highly successful event “FUTUREmode “LOG-IN” -3-” held in May, debuted the song.

The lyrics for “With (feat. capo2)” were written by capo2 and KOTONOHOUSE, and are based on the theme of “misunderstandings and partings with people.”
The lyrics were written based on the artists’ own experiences, and they beautifully portray the sadness and emptiness you feel when you are separated from a loved one. KOTONOHOUSE’s beautiful and tear-jerking track is also worth a listen.
The music video, which was released at the same time as the song, expands on the worldview of the lyrics, depicting the farewells of three pairs of characters and the emotions they felt at the time, making it a heart-tugging video for the viewer.

As the saying goes, life is full of once in a lifetime encounters, and even when you think you have met someone destined to be, you may suddenly become estranged from them.
We laugh together, hold hands. Sometimes we patch things up, sometimes we build walls. Sometimes we meet again, sometimes we never meet again.
This song depicts such feelings from various perspectives.



This time I wrote lyrics based on my own experiences. I didn’t want to write a typical breakup song.
I hope you enjoy the content of the music video, which was created by drawing on and expanding on that experience.

A track maker/DJ/music producer who began his full-fledged musical career in 2016.

With a unique sound influenced by anime and game music, they have attracted attention not only in Japan but also abroad. In 2017, they contributed their original song “good time” to the compilation “FREQUENCY BLITZ 5” by the famous California label Attack The Music.
In September of the same year, he released “Girlfriend,” a collaboration with Korean track maker Pure 100%, as a free download from the same label.

In 2018, he was invited to “Anime Expo 2018” held in Los Angeles and performed at “conXion”. In August, he released the “but you don’t” EP as the first creator of DJ MAG Records, and in 2019, he released the songs “Marine Snow (feat. RANASOL)” and “Star Trail (feat. RANASOL)” in collaboration with RANASOL.

She arranged the song “For Fruits Basket” on the VTuber compilation album “IMAGINATION vol.1,” and the Mirai Cha Records compilation album “Mirai Chaya vol.1,” released on April 17, includes a collaborative song with Yunomi.
