LUN8 (Luneito) ranked in the top 10 of the Oricon charts upon their Japanese debut! They will be performing "Evergreen" on Nippon TV's "Buzz Rhythm 02" on Friday, July 5th!

K-pop group LUN8 made their Japanese debut on June 19th, and their first single “Evergreen,” released at the same time as their Japanese debut, ranked 10th on the Oricon weekly singles rankings (June 17th to 23rd).

“Evergreen” is an album containing five songs in total, including the title song “Evergreen” and the coupling songs “My Tune” and “LOUDER”, three new original songs in Japan, and the Japanese versions of “Wild Heart” and “PASTEL” released in Korea. LUN8 worked with producers such as HIROMI, an R&B singer-songwriter who has written songs for popular K-POP artists such as LE SSERAFIM and IVE, and T-SK, who has written songs for many artists including TWS, to present not only highly polished but also attractive music.

Along with the release of the song, LUN8 successfully held their debut showcase in Japan, and are currently engaged in various promotional activities such as mini-live shows and special events. In addition, the title song “Evergreen” has been chosen as the opening theme song for Nippon Television’s “Buzz Rhythm 02” in July. “Evergreen” will be performed on TV for the first time on “Buzz Rhythm 02” broadcast on July 5th (Friday). LUN8’s high-class visuals and performances, as well as the team’s chemistry, are captivating Japanese fans.

Upon their Japanese debut, LUN8 ranked on the Oricon charts, raising expectations for their successful entry into Japan. As LUN8 continues to demonstrate a strong presence both at home and abroad, attention is focused on their growth and progress.

Meanwhile, LUN8 is a rising star of the fifth generation who made their official debut in Korea with the mini album “CONTINUE?” in June last year. This year, they have been busy with comeback promotions with the pre-release track “PASTEL” and title track “SUPER POWER” from their mini album “BUFF”, demonstrating their strength by achieving initial album sales more than double that of their previous work.

To coincide with their Japanese debut, LUN8 also opened the LUN8 JAPAN OFFICIAL FANCLUB “LUV8 JAPAN.”

In addition, LUN8’s first fan meeting in Japan, “LUN8 JAPAN 1st FANMEETING: Hello World,” will be held on Sunday, July 28th at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo and on Friday, August 2nd at Namba Hatch in Osaka.
