■”Tongue Tied” is a pop punk song that leaves a strong impact with its witty lyrics and KEY’s unique vocals!
The music video for SHINee’s KEY’s “Tongue Tied,” his first original Japanese song in about six years, has been released.
“Tongue Tied” is a pop punk song with a heavy kick drum as the main focus, western guitar, marching sounds, and whistles that leave a strong impact. The song expresses the moment when you are captivated by someone and are at a loss for words with witty lyrics and KEY’s unique vocals.
The music video was shot entirely in Korea, with a mysterious feel that is different from the jacket artwork. The dynamic blue lighting creates a dreamlike world in a museum and under a bridge along the Han River.
KEY remains calm but anxious, and as he wanders further into the place he finds another version of himself dancing. The video depicts different personalities within the same person, creating a strange, drunken sensation as the viewer floats between the two personalities.
KEY will hold the Japan legs of his solo tour, “2024 KEYLAND ON : AND ON in Japan,” at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium in Tokyo on July 6th and 7th, and at the Kobe World Memorial Hall in Hyogo from August 10th to 12th.
