Mr.Children “HERO” x “ONE PIECE” special collaboration movie released

■The lyrics of the song are surprisingly similar to the life of Bartholomew Kuma, a former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. The story is told in a 6-minute movie.

The 109th volume of “ONE PIECE” (written by Eiichiro Oda), which has sold over 510 million copies worldwide and will celebrate its 27th anniversary of serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” on July 22nd, will be released on July 4th.

To commemorate this, a special collaboration movie with Mr.Children’s famous song “HERO” <"ONE PIECE" x Mr.Children "HERO" ~Your Ally~> was released on the official “ONE PIECE” YouTube channel. This is the first time the two have teamed up since “fanfare” was the theme song for “ONE PIECE FILM STRONG WORLD” in 2009.

Volume 109 depicts the tragic past of former Shichibukai Bartholomew Kuma and the story of his “parent-child” relationship with Jewelry Bonney. Mr.Children’s “HERO” was released on December 11, 2002, and is a well-known smash hit. The lyrics match surprisingly well with Bartholomew Kuma’s life, and the video depicts the story in a roughly 6-minute movie.
