Mrs. GREEN APPLE has released the music video for “Lilac” using footage from the TV anime “Wasurei Battery.”
“Lilac,” released on April 12th, has become his biggest hit, surpassing 100 million streams in the 10th week of charting, his fastest ever, according to Billboard JAPAN’s June 19th tally. The anime broadcast ended on July 2nd, but while the afterglow is still fresh, a full-length music video that makes full use of anime footage has been released.
Under the supervision of director Nakazono Masato, the music video is a set of footage from episodes #01 to #12 of the TV anime “Wasurei Battery” set to the lyrics of “Lilac.”
