An interview video has been released in which Kyomoto Taiga (SixTONES), who plays the lead role in the film “Secret I Can’t Tell,” and heroine Furukawa Kotone talk about the film’s appeal.
When asked about the highlights of the film in the video, Kyomoto commented, “Throughout the film, the seasons change rapidly and you’ll get to see different sides to the two of us. Also, the theme song, ‘Secret,’ is a wonderful song that symbolizes the film, so I hope you’ll look forward to that as well.”
Furukawa said, “The film is filled with all kinds of heart-pounding scenes, like the sea, parties, and bicycles, so I’m curious to see which part will make everyone’s heart flutter!”
Regarding the theme song “Come Back Here,” Kyomoto, who also sings it as a member of SixTONES, recalled, “The lyrics are completely linked to the work, so it was easy to sing with feeling.”
Furukawa expressed his gratitude to Kyomoto, saying, “It felt like it really guided me into the lingering aftertaste of the movie, and while listening to the music, I was able to finish watching the movie while my memories of the two of them and scenes with them together were flashing before my eyes like a slideshow. He really sang a wonderful song.”
Kyomoto further appealed to the film’s appeal once again, saying, “The world view is simply beautiful, and while there is a sense of sadness, the film has a wonderful atmosphere. There are many surprising developments that you will never expect, so I hope that watching this film this season will make you feel a little refreshed, a little sad, or some other variety of emotions.”
Furukawa said, “I think that after watching the movie, you will find yourself wanting to see your loved ones and get in touch with them. It’s a gentle, heart-warming, and sad story. I hope that everyone will watch it with their friends, family, and loved ones.”
