The live-action film “Golden Kamuy” began streaming in Japan on Netflix on July 8th.
The film began streaming globally on Netflix on May 19th ahead of Japan, and has been ranked in the top 10 in 59 countries and regions. It has also been a hot topic around the world, taking first place in the Netflix weekly global top 10 non-English language movies category in its first week.
To coincide with the start of streaming, a live performance of the theme song, ACIDMAN’s “Kagayakeru Mono,” has been released to the world on YouTube.
The live video was titled “New Single Release Live “Kagayakeru Mono” and was held on February 6th at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL in Tokyo. The band performed with a special video of “Golden Kamuy” edited by the film’s director Shigeaki Kubo just for the occasion, and was broadcast on WOWOW. Be sure to check it out.
ACIDMAN is currently holding a nationwide tour themed around “gold,” called “ACIDMAN LIVE TOUR “Golden Set List.” On October 30th, they will hold a solo concert, “This is ACIDMAN 2024,” at KT Zepp Yokohama in Kanagawa.
