SUPER EIGHT looks back on the first half of their 20th anniversary year

SUPER EIGHT will appear on the cover of the photo magazine “TV Guide PERSON” vol. 143, which will be released on July 11th.

SUPER EIGHT will release their first album since changing their name, “SUPER EIGHT,” on July 31. “It has a wide variety of songs, which is typical of us” (Okura Tadayoshi) and “I felt the strength of the group, that they still have a lot of potential even after 20 years” (Murakami Shingo), they commented on the highlights of the new album and stories about the artists who provided the songs on it.

They also looked back on their activities during the first half of their 20th anniversary year, saying, “I’m looking forward to seeing how their individual activities will be reflected in our performance as a group” (Maruyama Ryuhei).

Furthermore, they also revealed their feelings about appearing at the event “WE ARE! Let’s get the party STARTO!!”, saying things like “I was deeply moved and wondered how many more times I would be able to see this view” (Yokoyama Yu) and “I felt that this long-standing tradition had not disappeared” (Yasuda Shota).
