“MONO NO AWARE” has released the official video for “Angle,” a shot from the perspective of photographer Shun Omiyama, from their new album, “The Buffet”!

MONO NO AWAREMONO NO AWARE, whose new album “The Buffet”, released on Wednesday June 5th, has been highly praised all over the world, and the album release tour has seen sold-out shows in Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, Sapporo, Kobe, Takamatsu, Niigata, and other places. They have now released the official video for “Angle” from the new album.

“Angle” is the final track on the latest album, “The Buffet.”
This song delivers a poignant message that although you can think about things from various angles, in the end you only have one perspective.
The video for this work focuses on the camera of photographer Shun Omiyama, who also shot the cover of the “Angle” digital release and 10-inch single, and by following his lens as he captures the members of MONO NO AWARE and the cityscape, it offers a glimpse into the perspective from which Omiyama captures each moment.
The video director is Risa Nishimura.

The 10-inch single “Angle” will go on general sale on Wednesday, July 31st, with “Angle” on side A and a remix by imai (group_inou) of the popular tongue twister-themed song “Kamukamo Shikamonidomo Kamo!” written specifically for NHK Minna no Uta on side B.

The band is also currently on their first national solo tour in about three years! The tour has now completed nine shows, all of which are SOLD OUT, but this weekend they will be holding additional shows at MACANA in Sendai on Friday, July 12th, GOLDEN PIGS BLACK in Niigata on Sunday, July 14th (SOLD OUT), GOLD CREEK in Kanazawa on Monday, July 15th, and Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on Thursday, August 29th.
