The music video for the theme song “Hajimeika Seishun wa” for Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s “Today, I Fell in Love. Summer Vacation Edition 2024” has been released

Ryokuoushoku Shakai has released the music video for their latest song, “Is Your Youth Embarrassing?”

“Is Your Youth Embarrassing?” was written as the theme song for Abema’s “Today, I Fell in Love. Summer Vacation Edition 2024,” and the lyrics and music were written by vocalist and guitarist Haruko Nagaya. It’s an up-tempo number that encourages people to run at full speed, and the contrast between the suffering and joy behind youth is depicted with a powerful and vivid sound and emotional vocals.

The music video also features a 40-person orchestra along with the band members. Haruko Nagaya conducts the music video as if to encourage the young people who are single-mindedly pursuing their youth, whether it be in their studies or club activities.

The contrast between the “individual” moment that cuts out a scene from youth and the scale of Ryokuoushoku Shakai + Orchestra’s confident and passionate performance of “You’re not alone” makes the contours of the song stand out even more. Be sure to check it out.
