The world-famous girl band BAND-MAID held the final performance of their HALLL TOUR 2024 at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall on July 14th. After the tour finale, which was a premier performance that sold out on the same day, they made a surprise announcement that they will release their long-awaited original full album “Epic Narratives” on September 25th, and will hold a re-run of their ZEPP TOUR in November, which was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “BAND-MAID HALL TOUR 2024”, which began on June 28th with a performance in Nagoya, is surprisingly the first hall tour for BAND-MAID, who have performed solo at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa and at large overseas festivals such as “Lollapalooza Chicago”. The set list, which was sure to make the masters and ladies (their fans) drool, was a big hit in each area, with a focus on new and old singles and tie-up songs, popular songs that are staples of their live shows, and two unreleased songs that will be included in the new album.
At the end of this hugely successful service, a special video was shown announcing three pieces of news: details of the band’s first original full album in three and a half years, which was previously only announced to be released this summer; a special live performance on August 30th; and a Zepp Tour that will take place in four locations across the country starting in November.
The new album, titled “Epic Narratives,” will include singles such as “Shambles” (the ending theme for the anime “Kengan Ashura” Season 2), “Bestie” (co-written with Incubus guitarist Michael Einziger, who is also known as one of the composers of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up”), and “Protect You” (the ending theme for the TV anime “Grendizer U”). In addition, the album will include a total of 14 songs, including 10 unreleased songs, such as “SHOW THEM,” a collaboration with the world-famous Mexican band of three sisters, The Warning.

This album will be released simultaneously as a digital download and in three different CD formats. The Blu-ray and DVD included with the limited edition and first press limited edition will include footage of the “THE DAY OF MAID” concert held on May 10, 2024. As an early reservation bonus, the album will also include a CD with the opening soundtrack “Seasoned” from the HALL TOUR 2024, as well as seven original bonuses for each shop. Their hard rock sound, which is in stark contrast to their maid appearance, has earned them support from fans and media around the world, with their videos having been viewed more than 200 million times on YouTube.
Fans from all over the world have also been posting reaction videos on YouTube, which have been viewed more than 40 million times.
