THE Tiba will be hosting an event called “what we need” on Sunday, August 18th at THREE & BASEMENT BAR in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
This event is a donation project for the Gaza humanitarian crisis. On the day, THE Tiba will perform a long live set at BASEMENT BAR, Yuransen will perform a live performance with three members, and Murakami Nagisa will sing and play the guitar at THREE. Jams (Food), PASSAGE by ALL REVIEWS (Books), and to’morrow records (Shop) will also be setting up stalls at THREE. This will be a cultural event where you can enjoy not only live performances, but also shopping for food, books, and records. The flyer visuals were also created by Haruna Katsuwata, who has previously worked on THE Tiba’s artwork.
Those who purchase tickets in advance from THE TIVA’s BASE or at the concert merchandise booth will receive a limited edition sticker. U-22 tickets are also available for 1,000 yen, so if you’re under 22, be sure to check them out.
All profits generated from the event on the day will be donated through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to support those affected by the Gaza invasion.
The following are statements from THE TIBA’s Akechi Maya and Sachi regarding this event.
