AWA’s first new program “AWA Musictellers” specializing in singing and playing the guitar will start. The first episode will feature Funatsu Masato, who is currently enjoying a huge hit with “Love at First Sight”.


AWA, a subscription-based music streaming service operated by AWA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akio Togashi), will launch the official program “AWA Musictellers” on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 9:00 p.m. in the online space “Lounge,” which anyone can join for free. The program will feature singers who excel at playing and singing to move the heart, transcending the boundaries between artists and streamers.

This new program is a new program following the very positive reception of the “CROSS AWA pre. Sing-along Festival” held in May 2024, and will feature AWA Lounge performers who transcend the boundaries between artists and streamers, delivering heart-warming singing and playing. The first episode will feature three artists: singer-songwriter Funatsu Masato, whose song “Love at First Sight” released in May has been played over 300 million times on TikTok; singer erica, whose signature song “A Song for You” has been played 43 million times on YouTube; and AWA Lounge streamer Kikazaru, whose original song “Sleeping Demon Summon” provided by music producer Sugiyama Katsuhiko is a hot topic. Anyone can join the AWA Lounge for free via the AWA app or WEB, and listeners can interact with artists via chat.
