CEMETERY SKYLINE, a new band formed by members of DARK TRANQUILLITY, AMORPHIS, and OMNIUM GATHERUM, will release their debut album, "Nordic Gothic," on October 11th!

CEMETERY SKYLINE is a group of five of the strongest Nordic metal bands. On July 18th, they held their first live performance at the John Smith Rock Festival in Finland, where they performed a total of nine songs, including eight original songs such as “In Darkness” and “Violent Storm,” which were released as pre-release singles, and a cover of Roy Orbison’s “I Drove All Night.” CEMETERY SKYLINE is made up of five members, all of whom have a brilliant track record, mainly in Europe: vocalist Mikael Stanne (DARK TRANQUILLITY/THE HALO EFFECT), guitarist Markus Vanhala (INSOMNIUM/OMNIUM GATHERUM), keyboardist Santeri Kallio (AMORPHIS), bassist Victor Brandt (DIMMU BORGIR), and drummer Vesa Ranta (SENTENCED). It has been announced that their debut album, “Nordic Gothic,” will be released on October 11th, and the album cover photo has also been released! The Japanese version will be released at the same time!

CEMETERY SKYLINE was formed sometime in 2020 with the idea of creating ageless dark music as a tribute to the artists who have had the greatest influence on their generation. This Scandinavian collaboration was born with the plan to create something different and different from what the band members have done before. It is a unique combination of heavy riffs and emotion packed into a dark and deep creative context. Their music could be called Gothic Rock, Dark Rock or even Heavy Metal. However, CEMETERY SKYLINE themselves call their music Nordic Gothic.
