■EXILE TAKAHIRO shows off his drinking prowess! “I’m going to drink all the beer in this bar!”
EXILE’s TAKAHIRO and Snow Man’s Sakuma Daisuke will appear on “Sekai Chou Gourmet” which will air on July 24th.
“Sekaicho Gourmet” aims to connect people around the world by traveling the world and eating local food, overcoming language barriers. The July 24th broadcast will feature Mexico and Korea.
■ Ryoko Yonekura & Kayo Noro Mexico
Best friends Ryoko Yonekura and Kayo Noro embark on a three-day trip of eating, drinking and dancing to their heart’s content in Mexico, the most cheerful country in the world.
In fact, the two have become such good friends that they have been messaging each other on LINE every day since they co-starred in a drama in 2023. At “Taco Street” in Mexico City, they eat a lot of food, including “pork belly tacos on the bone” with pork spare ribs, “pork skin tacos” stewed in lard, and “pork shoulder and cheese tacos,” all for a combined budget of less than 3,000 yen.
At a popular restaurant that is known as the “best restaurant,” they enjoyed “cochinita pibil tacos,” a Mexican local dish. When they ordered additional “shrimp tacos,” the two were thrilled, saying, “They’re so good!” and “This is one of the best!”
In addition, Yonekura highly praised the “hazelnut churros” that she bought with her own money, saying “Muyrico!” (So delicious!). At the salsa bar, she was invited by a local man to dance with enthusiasm. Yonekura, who loves Mexico, also spoke fluent Spanish.
■Kayoko Okubo & EXILE TAKAHIRO Korea
In Seoul, Korea, heavy drinkers Kayoko Okubo and EXILE TAKAHIRO embark on a two-day weekend getaway. They eat and drink without limits at Seoul’s largest market, Gwangjang Market. “This is the best!” they exclaim as they toast with beer in the morning. They are excited about the “bibimbap” with seven kinds of vegetables and “handmade dumplings,” saying, “Wow! It’s so delicious!”
They also enjoyed “Yukke Long Octopus Tataki” and “Raw Liver” at “Yukke Street”. “I think I’m going to drink all the beer in this place!” said EXILE TAKAHIRO in excitement. Just how much did the two eat and drink?
In addition to Sakuma Daisuke (Snow Man), Osawa Akane, Sakashita Chisato, Yasuko, and Yuchami will be joining the studio, and they will have fun together with the MC as they watch reports on local food.
