Sunni Colón, a singer-songwriter from LA, will perform in Japan for the first time in October.
Sunni Colón was born to Nigerian parents and grew up moving around the world. While his musical style is based on jazz, soul, and funk, he also freely moves through genres that reflect his background, and his debut album “Thierry Disko” released in 2016 attracted a lot of attention. He has since gained recognition through collaborations with Mac Miller and KAYTRANADA, and has released a total of three albums to date.
He recently released his latest single “DISKO MUSHROOM,” raising expectations for his fourth full-length album. He has also launched a creative agency called “Tetsu” and is actively engaged in art and design activities.
Sunni Colón’s precious first performances will be held on Tuesday, October 1st at Billboard Live TOKYO, on Thursday, October 3rd at Billboard Live YOKOHAMA, and on Friday, October 4th at Billboard Live OSAKA.
