Director Kiyoshi Kurosawa praises the song written by (Alexandros) inspired by the movie “Cloud” starring Masaki Suda

■ “It’s nothing short of amazing. Images alone can always be vague, but music can sometimes convey it with surprising accuracy.” (Kiyoshi Kurosawa)

The film “Cloud,” directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa and starring Masaki Suda, will be released on September 27th. The official trailer, which uses the song “Boy Fearless,” written by (Alexandros) as an inspiration for the film, has now been released.

The movie “Cloud” is a suspense thriller that depicts the terror that exists alongside our everyday lives, in which “anyone can be a target.”

The newly released trailer shows Masaki Suda being pushed into a corner like never before, and is filled with tension.

Kawakami, who is known for being a movie buff and watches about 200 movies a year, has long been a big fan of director Kiyoshi Kurosawa. When he received an offer to create a song inspired by Kurosawa, he immediately accepted the request for this collaboration. He created the song “Boy Fearless,” which is composed of an eerie guitar riff and deep bass that stirs up a sense of urgency.

After listening to the song, director Kurosawa praised it, saying, “When I heard (Alexandros)’s song, I simultaneously felt pleasure and anxiety at the incredible speed at which things were progressing one after another. I wanted to know more, but was afraid to find out…which is exactly the emotion I wanted the audience to experience with this film. It’s nothing short of magnificent. Music can sometimes convey expressions that would inevitably become vague with images alone with astonishing accuracy.”

“Boy Fearless” will be included on (Alexandros)’s single “SINGLE 2,” which will be released on September 18th.

■About the official trailer for the movie “Cloud”
The video begins with a vivid depiction of the daily life of Yoshii (Suda), who lives his daily life as a “reseller.” “Isn’t something wrong?”, “They’re making fun of me.” Yoshii, who is simply seeking his own profit and will do anything to avoid it, unconsciously spreads words of “hatred” that are absorbed into the darkness of the online community, and before he knew it, he had become the target of hatred in the online community, with people saying, “I’m going to kill this guy.”

“They’re just rising up. People like them. Like clouds in the sky.” A meaningful line that evokes the title of the movie is inserted, and the stage changes completely. An “invisible malice” runs wild, materializing in an anonymous “hunting game.” Yoshii becomes the target, and danger befalls him one after another.

Also pay attention to the ominous expressions of Masataka Kubota, Kotone Furukawa, Daiken Okudaira, Amane Okayama, and Ryo Ryo Arakawa, who are all looking at you with sharp eyes. At the end, the image of Suda holding a gun with a desperate look on his face is projected, making for a thrilling video that will make you sweat.
