Singer-songwriter Abe Mao has released a live video of “Keep Your Fire Burning.”
The song released is a live video from Abe Mao YouTube Live, which was streamed live on July 2nd and attracted many viewers. This is the second song to be released following the live video of “Hands and Dance,” which was released as a digital single on July 17th.
The song gained popularity overseas as the ending theme for the TV anime “The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer,” so it seems likely that Abe Mao’s live performances, which are her forte, will spread throughout the world.
Speaking of live performances, Abe Mao will hold an arena-sized solo concert titled “Abe Mao Live 2025 -15th ANNIVERSARY- at Tokyo Garden Theater” at Tokyo Garden Theater on January 26, 2025 as the final performance of her 15th anniversary tour, which starts in August.
This will be her first large-scale solo concert since Abe Mao Live No.8 ~10th Anniversary Special~, which was held at Nippon Budokan and Kobe World Memorial Hall to mark the 10th anniversary of her debut, so it is sure to be a special performance that fans both new and old will not want to miss.The official advance lottery for tickets will start at noon on July 31st, so don’t miss out.
It has been decided that “Everyday” will be released in advance from Mao Abe’s 11th original album “NOW,” which will finally be released on August 7th. The song features a minimalist string arrangement by new arranger Rayons. The mix was done by Sasaki Yu, who has worked with millennium parade, BREIMEN, and Rikon Densetsu. Although the instrumental arrangement is simple, the song was produced with Rayons on backing vocals, and is an ambitious work that not only features a powerful singing voice, but also the precision and delicacy of Abe Mao as a vocalist. Advance downloads will start on July 31st, so listen to “Everyday” and build up your expectations for the album.
