24 groups selected through audition process for first-ever hip-hop festival “NEXT2024”


Additional lineup has been announced for the hip-hop festival “NEXT2024,” which will be held at the event stage of the outdoor entertainment park “GLAMSA PARK 2024” in Odaiba, Tokyo on Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th.

By shining the spotlight on talented young rappers who are expected to make great strides in the future, this festival aims to bring them to the public and become the birthplace of the “Japanese Dream.”

The lineup already included VIGORMAN, ralph, SugLawd Familiar, Paledusk, SugLawd Familiar, 7, sheidA, and Hiiragito, but 24 new acts have been selected from the audition project “WHO’s THE NEXT?” to support future rap stars.

In this project, contestants who pass the preliminary audition will have the opportunity to perform on the main stage of the festival, which has a capacity of 2,000 people, and the winner will receive a prize, as well as support for music video production, song, recording, and PR, as well as the right to perform with famous artists (*). In addition, support tickets featuring the designs of each participating artist (which can be used as admission tickets on the day) and support goods are also available for purchase on each artist’s page.
