■The cast for Goro, the “previous life” of Aqua (Kaion Sakurai), a key character in “Oshi no Ko,” has been revealed for the first time!
Amazon and Toei have launched a joint project to turn Oshi no Ko into a live-action film. The drama series will be available worldwide exclusively to Prime members on Prime Video from 9pm on November 28th, and the sequel will be released nationwide on December 20th, distributed by Toei.
It has now been revealed that actor Narita Ryo will be appearing in the film.
Narita will play Amamiya Goro (nicknamed Goro), an important character who is responsible for the beginning of “Oshi no Ko.”
Influenced by a certain girl, he becomes an otaku of Ai (Saito Asuka), the star of the idol group B Komachi, but ends up becoming Ai’s doctor when she becomes pregnant.
The character PV that was also released shows Goro showing off his various sides thanks to Narita’s unrivaled acting skills.
He is seen admiring and fooling around with his “favorite” Ai’s merchandise, holding his head in his hands when a pregnant Ai shows up as a patient, making a decision as the pregnant Ai’s doctor, and getting caught up in an extraordinary situation.
The video ends with Ai’s “final moments” and a narration that conveys Goro’s strong desire for revenge.
