MAYKIDZ, a three-piece band consisting of Takada Yuichi (Ba/ELLEGARDEN/MEANING), Kobayashi Koichi (Vo/Gt/SUPER FLYING BOY/SAY MY NAME.), and BEAK (Dr/NICOTINE), will release their second digital single “Thunders/Behind The Undercover” tomorrow, July 31st!
“Thunders” features Japanese lyrics over a classic two-beat rhythm, and is centered around MAYKIDZ’s distinctive piercing melody and Kobayashi’s vocals, making it sure to get the crowd excited at live shows!
Regarding the release of this work, Kobayashi commented, “It’s been a long time since our last digital single! Thank you so much to all the fans who have been waiting. After our Asia tour, we’ve returned to our roots, and we wanted to deliver the evolved sound of MAKYKIDZ as soon as possible, so we decided to release this single. It feels like we’ve started MAYKIDZ anew, and all the members are very happy. Let’s meet on tour!”
The music video for “Thunders” will premiere on the MAYKIDZ official YouTube channel from 9pm on July 31st, and the lyric video for “Behind The Undercover” will be released at the same time!
