This song was created around 2019.
I hope that at least I can remember that there was a time that I can never return to.
I feel like I wrote this song with that feeling in mind.

At that time, I had only ever sung my own songs by playing the guitar and singing, but I still vaguely thought that if I ever released this song, I would like to record it playing with someone else.

I am so happy that we have finally been able to put this song into shape together (emsemble) with Rikki-san, Yoshii-kun, Namiki-chan, all musicians whom I greatly respect, engineer Suda-san, and artwork by Kamadama Mamiko-san.

“Squall” is my first new song in about three years and my first digital single. I hope it reaches many people in many places. Thank you!

Hirose Mutsumi

Singer-Songwriter. Born in Osaka in 1998.
Since childhood, she has had musical experiences such as eurhythmics and piano, and has been composing her own songs since the summer of 2017.
She began performing live at the venue. Her strengths are her honest and straightforward voice and her sincere words.

In 2019, she released her first EP, “Azayaka,” which was a piano accompaniment and vocal work.
In 2021, the second EP “Kouten” was released, featuring Kyoto-based drummer senoo ricky as a guest.
and began performing live as a duo.
From August 2022, he will be staying in the south of France for a year for his studies. During this time, he produced two sound albums called “Airmail Sound Collection.”
In 2023, as Hirose Mutsumi (ensemble), in addition to senoo ricky, a new guitarist
Artist Daiki Yoshii (from Astral Communications), bassist and singer-songwriter Nanami
They began performing as a four-person band with Ki as a support member.

They are currently working hard on their first full-length album.
