Kento Senga plays "the craziest scum husband in history"! Drama "Aijin Tensei - The cheated wife takes revenge after she dies" to be broadcast

The popular manga series “Aijin Tensei – The Betrayed Wife Gets Revenge After She Dies,” which was released on LINE Manga on August 1st from peep (a manga/novel app), has been adapted into a live-action drama starring Kanon and Senga Kento (Kis-My-Ft2), and will be broadcast in the MBS Drama Special Zone from September 5th.

■The revenge of a betrayed wife who has been “reincarnated” as a mistress, putting her new life on the line, begins now!
This drama is an exhilarating “reincarnation x revenge entertainment” that leads a despicable husband to ruin.

Having lost her mother at a young age, Chisato grew up with her father, living an ordinary but happy life. She married her classmate, Mayama Yuuta, the heir to a large company, immediately after graduating from university, and was meant to lead a happy married life…

She has been married for eight years. She is treated like a “housekeeper” by her husband and parents-in-law and is subjected to verbal abuse every day. However, she has endured bravely, holding on to a glimmer of hope thanks to the occasional kindness her husband shows. Then, on her 30th birthday, she witnesses her husband, Yuta, who was supposed to have gone to work, walking affectionately with a young woman, Mitsui Runa.

When Chisato finds out that her trusted husband has betrayed her, she explodes with anger, saying she cannot forgive his unreasonable behavior. She and Luna get into a scuffle, and the two of them end up being run over by a car.

When he wakes up in the hospital, his husband calls out the name of his mistress, saying, “I’m glad Luna is alive.” To his surprise, he has been “reincarnated” as Yuta’s mistress, Luna…

“I’ll ruin your life with this body that you love,” Chisato vows, risking her new life to get revenge on Yuta.

Yuta’s mistress, Mitsui Runa, who is Chisato’s reincarnation after the accident, will be played by actress Kanon, who has starred in the dramas “Gachikoi Nenkinjuu” (2023) and “Kusumuri Onna to Sundome Onna” (2023), worked as an exclusive model for the fashion magazine “non-no”, and played Sakana-kun’s partner in “Gyogyotto Sakana★Star” currently airing on NHK Educational TV. Keep an eye on Kanon as she plays the two personalities of the mistress Runa and the reincarnated Chisato.

The role of Mayama Yuta, a crazily despicable husband who dotes on his mistress Luna but emotionally abuses his wife Chisato at home, is played by Senga Kento, a member of Kis-My-Ft2 who is a multitalented man with great dancing skills who also choreographs dances, has appeared on numerous variety shows, and has held solo exhibitions as an art enthusiast.

Expectations are high for Senga’s bizarre performance, which exudes madness as he declares, “I’m going to give you the scariest experience of your life.”

I had read the original work, so when I was offered this role, I was surprised and very happy to be able to play this role. It’s a role I’ve never tried before, so I’d like to explore the feelings of both characters as I play the role. Various things happen in every episode, and the story unfolds in a way that keeps you from looking away, so I was nervous as I read it, clutching the script tightly. I hope that many people will enjoy it, laughing at times and empathizing with the various characters.

My name is Kento Senga, and I will be playing the role of Mayama Yuta in the drama “Ai-nin Tensei.”
I am very happy to have been offered such an important role.
I also understand that I will be playing the role of a very despicable husband.
When I asked him how he got the offer, he told me that he had seen “Omauru” and decided that he was the one to film this movie.
There’s nothing but pressure.
I would like to portray in my own way how Yuta lives true to his human desires, and also express the suffering of Chisato, played by the main character Kanon, and her lines such as, “I’m going to make you experience the scariest thing you’ve ever experienced in your life.”

When I heard about the proposal to make a drama, at first I thought it was a dream.
However, as I listened to the editor’s story,
I remember feeling a surge of joy, thinking, “Ah…this is real!”
Chisato, who is reincarnated as her husband’s mistress, is filled with a desire for revenge.
I can’t wait to see how punishments will be meted out in the drama!
I am very grateful to everyone for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.

Ever since I was approached about this drama, I have been thinking about what “revenge” means.
When I first heard about the project, I remember being very impressed with the idea of depicting “revenge” without committing “murder” or “crime.”
No matter how much hatred we feel, humans have a sense of ethics that we don’t want to lose.
I wanted to believe in something like that kind of hope.
I also participated in the development of the script, and the team carefully crafted how the story would end.
That being said, it is a revenge drama.
We will take on the challenge of filming in a way that will be both nerve-wracking and frustrating, but also exhilarating.
However, it looks like it’s going to be a hot summer. It seems like it will be hotter than normal, but we will do our best to surpass that heat.
