The new single “24karats GOLD GENESIS” by the 16-member dance and vocal group THE RAMPAGE has reached No. 1 for the first time on the Billboard JAPAN comprehensive song chart JAPAN Hot 100 (released on July 31, 2024).

In addition, it also debuted at No. 1 on the “Oricon Weekly Combined Single Ranking” (dated August 5th) announced today, achieving a quadruple crown in the major rankings, including the “Oricon Weekly Single Ranking” dated August 5th, 2024, and the Billboard JAPAN weekly single sales chart “Top Singles Sales” released on July 31st, 2024 (calculation period: July 22nd – July 28th, 2024).

“24karats GOLD GENESIS” is based on the brand concept of “STREET SPORTS”.
This work is the official successor to EXILE’s “24karats series,” in which EXILE has expressed entertainment through music and fashion, with dance culture at its roots.

This is the first time that a group other than EXILE has released the “24karats Series.”
The song expresses the evolution of 24karats with traditional phrases inherited from previous 24karats series, the powerful hip-hop sound characteristic of THE RAMPAGE, and lyrics themed on “inheritance” that convey a strong will to shine forever like gold.

THE RAMPAGE has announced that they will hold a two-day concert at Tokyo Dome, “THE RAMPAGE LIMITED LIVE 2024 *p(R)ojectR® at TOKYO DOME,” on Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th.
