Winter festival "Snow Machine" to be held in 2025 with performances by Chase & Status, SBTRKT, Jungle and more

It has been announced that the winter festival “Snow Machine” will be held in March 2025.

Snow Machine was held in Hakuba, Nagano in March this year, and attracted attention with appearances by Diplo, Nina Kraviz, and Marc Rebillet, who was visiting Japan for the first time. In 2025, the third time it will be held in Japan, it will be even more powerful and will be held in two locations: Hakuba, Nagano and Niseko, Hokkaido. It will be held in Hakuba, Nagano from Wednesday, March 5th to Saturday, March 8th, and in Niseko, Hokkaido from Tuesday, March 11th to Friday, March 14th.

The first lineup announced includes 19 acts, including Chase & Status (DJ set), Claptone, Jungle (DJ set), Dillon Francis, Hot Chip (DJ set), SBTRKT (DJ set), DJ Kentaro, KEN ISHII, DJ NOBU, and Wata Igarashi.

In addition, a stage takeover by the DJ event “Boiler Room,” which is held around the world, will also be held. Details will be announced at a later date.

Niseko, where the event will be held for the first time, is a world-famous ski resort that needs no introduction. During the day, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding while listening to DJ performances on the specially set up Mountain Stage within the Niseko ski resort, and at night, you can dance the night away to dance music on the main stage. It will be a four-day event where you can fully enjoy the “fusion of music and winter sports” that is unique to Snow Machine.

Currently, the Snow Machine Niseko official website is selling a package plan that includes a lift ticket, Snow Machine admission ticket, and accommodation. Accommodation areas can be selected from Niseko Village, Hirafu, and Izumikyo. Snow Machine admission tickets are available in two types: a one-day pass and a four-day pass, and you can also purchase just the admission ticket. More than half of the package plans are already booked, so if you’re interested, check early.
