Snow Man’s Raul tries to recreate the recipe of a famous hamburger restaurant! “I’ve always wanted to be on a cooking show!”

■For the chance to win a sample of the “Ultimate Hamburger,” we will also share some “good stories about beef and heartwarming hamburgers”!

On the 10th of August, Kansai TV’s “Uramayo!” (every Saturday from 13:00), Raul (Snow Man) and Natsuki Deguchi, who co-starred in the movie “Akabane Kotsuko’s Bodyguard”, will make their first appearance as guest panelists.

Every Saturday afternoon, Kansai TV’s information variety show “Uramayo!” takes a look behind the scenes at celebrities, hit products, and other topics that are the talk of the town.

This time, the topic is “Uramayo! Gourmet Secret Quiz – Hamburger Edition,” and in the form of a quiz participants will learn various facts about hamburgers, a dish loved by people of all ages and genders.

At the opening, Raul was asked by the MC, Black Mayonnaise’s Yoshida Kei, “Actually, Raul and I share the same birthday…” to which he replied, “We have the same birthday!” and they hit it off.

Then, fellow MC Ryuichi Kosugi of Black Mayonnaise revealed an unexpected commonality, saying, “By the way, I’m the same as (Snow Man member) Sakuma (Daisuke),” which surprised everyone. Raul commented, “(Black Mayonnaise) is almost like Snow Man!”, making the studio laugh.

On the other hand, when asked about the theme of this episode, “Hamburg steak,” Deguchi commented, “I love hamburg steak!”, but seemed a little nervous. Yoshida teased him, saying, “Why are you so nervous? (laughs),” and both he and Raul playfully replied, “The pressure from Osaka! (laughs).”

The program will introduce the popular hamburger steak from the famous family restaurant chain “Coco’s.” Among the more than 10 types of hamburger steaks on the menu at any one time, the “wrapped baked hamburger steak,” which has been the top seller for many years, will be sampled in the studio.

The program also looks behind the scenes at the “evolving hamburger restaurants” that are popular in the Kansai region right now. The program features a popular restaurant that offers services that are rare for a hamburger restaurant and has long queues on weekends, as well as a restaurant with the theme of “the ultimate hamburger” made by a Japanese chef.

In the middle of the quiz about hamburgers, Deguchi was flustered by the sudden question but tried his best to answer, and even Black Mayonnaise couldn’t help but smile, saying, “How cute…” In the question where the answer had to be written on a flip chart, Raul showed off his unexpected drawing skills, livening up the quiz.

The two also take part in a project where the prize is a tasting of the “Ultimate Hamburger”. In reference to hamburgers, the topic is “Good Stories About Gyu (Beef) and Heartwarming Hamburgers”, and each participant will tell a “heartwarming story”, and if it resonates with judge Yoshida, he will be able to try the sample. Raul will try to win the sample by telling an episode from when he traveled to Italy with a friend. The other panelists will also try to win Yoshida’s heart with their special heartwarming stories.

In addition, a long-established Western restaurant in Kyoto that has been in business for over 100 years will teach a hamburger recipe that allows you to reproduce 95% of the professional taste at home. This time, Raul will participate in the cooking in the studio and try to reproduce the famous restaurant’s recipe.

While receiving instruction from the chef, Raul showed an excited expression and said, “I’ve always wanted to be on a cooking show!” After that, he continued to work skillfully through the process, and participated in the cooking enthusiastically from start to finish, nodding along like an assistant on a cooking show. Don’t miss this rare glimpse of Raul, who says, “I haven’t really cooked much on TV.”
