Artist hitomi made a guest appearance at the Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles game held at Belluna Dome in Saitama on August 3rd.
This was his second ceremonial pitch, and he delivered a brilliant pitch despite it being a one-bounce ball.
After the match, they also put on a spectacular performance that really got the crowd excited.

The Lions Festivals 2024 will be held from August 2nd to September 1st, and various artists and talents will make guest appearances at Lions home games at the Belluna Dome to liven up the period.

Hitomi made her CD debut in November 1994. She had many hits, including “CANDY GIRL,” “LOVE 2000,” and “SAMURAI DRIVE.”
Currently a mother of four, she continues to vigorously pursue her career as an artist, and in addition to her work as a singer, she is also active in many other areas, including as a talent and model, as well as directing apparel, beauty care products, and health foods.

Hitomi appeared wearing the limited edition “Hunt Blue Uniform” for the Lions Festivals 2024, paired with stylish shorts, and waving to the stands.
Before the ceremonial pitch, Hitomi commented with a cheerful expression, “I don’t usually throw a baseball, so I hope it goes well! I’ll do my best!”

Hitomi slowly exhaled while standing on the mound, then took a big swing and, with a dynamic pitching form, the ball bounced once but still passed right through the center of the base.
The pitch arrived at the catcher’s mitt with almost no deviation from his stance, and the great pitch was met with loud applause and cheers from the stands.

After completing her second ceremonial pitch since Yokohama Stadium in June 2019, Hitomi smiled with relief and said, “I was a little nervous, but practicing in front of the mirror in the bathroom was worth it! (laughs).”
When asked to rate his own performance this time, he seemed very satisfied, saying, “This time I got 120 points!!”
Regarding the live performance planned after the match, he said with a savor, “I want to put my heart into it and liven up the atmosphere.”

The Lions ended their losing streak with a comfortable 7-0 victory.

After the game, while the excitement of the Lions fans was still high, Hitomi reappeared onto the field dressed in a navy blue dress.
The special live performance began with the shout of “Saitama!”
Spotlights and colorful penlights from both Lions and Eagles fans bloomed in abundance, instantly transporting the audience to Hitomi’s world.
She confidently performed some of hitomi’s most representative songs, including “SAMURAI DRIVE,” “I am,” and “LOVE 2000.”
When hitomi called out to the audience, “Congratulations Saitama Seibu Lions! It was a great game, I was moved!”, a huge cheer filled the stadium.
