AAA, a project consisting of Korean band HYUKOH and Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster, will be performing in Japan at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on Thursday, October 10th.
AAA released their project album “AAA” in July this year. The album was created by the two bands in various parts of Korea over a period of about a year from May last year, and contains eight songs with the styling concept of “Music Wandering Group.”
The two bands, who have known each other for many years, first collaborated in Tokyo. When HYUKOH visited Tokyo on a Japan tour in February 2020, he met and talked with Sunset Rollercoaster, who were in Tokyo preparing for an album. After that, HYUKOH’s vocalist OHHYUK was featured on Sunset Rollercoaster’s “Candlelight,” and Sunset Rollercoaster remade HYUKOH’s “Help.” Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these projects were done online, but the love and respect that the two bands had for each other allowed for a closer relationship.
The two bands met again at Sunset Rollercoaster’s concert in Korea in March of last year. They reaffirmed their mutual desire to “make music together,” which led to the collaboration of “AAA,” and the release of their first album in four years.
The world tour to commemorate this work will not be a battle of the bands format, but rather both bands will perform on stage at the same time. It is planned to be a special live performance like never before. Tickets will be available for Creativeman 3A members from 15:00 on Wednesday, August 7th.
