B’z’s Matsumoto Takahiro appears on the cover and in the lead feature of the September issue of “YOUNG GUITAR” (on sale August 17th).
“THE HIT PARADE II” (on sale August 28th), a pure cover of music that influenced him, and “TMG II” (on sale September 18th), in which he takes on hard rock head-on with his veteran comrades. The two “second releases” are thoroughly analyzed in a massive volume of 89 pages.

“THE HIT PARADE II” takes a closer look at some of Takahiro Matsumoto’s roots and the origins of the songs featured in this work. For “TMG II,” Jack Blades (Ba), Eric Martin (Vo), and other members of TMG also appear.
In addition to introducing the guitars used in the two works, the book also reprints Matsumoto’s interview (reconstructed) from the July 2004 issue and an article about the equipment used on the tour at that time. The performance analysis focuses on the latest phrases from “THE HIT PARADE II” and “TMG I” (released in 2004). The scores are “BATTLEBOX” (digital single), “Kizudarake no Rola” (a song released in advance from “THE HIT PARADE II”), and “OH JAPAN ~OUR TIME IS NOW~” (TMG), making it a truly “TAK-filled” content.
